KOSIT a.s. owns one Waste Energy Utilization Facility (ZEVO), 13 subsidiaries, employs a total of 760 employees and provides its services to 244 municipal customers and 2,200 business entities in Slovakia. At present, it has almost 26,000 containers, 240 cars in the vehicle fleet deployed in the Slovak Republic, it processes more than 322,000 tons of waste per year, it produces max. 48,000 MWh of electricity for 20,000 households during the winter will provide heating for 2,400 households.
In addition, KOSIT a.s. it also devotes itself to education and passes on the knowledge of approximately 5,000 environmental education graduates a year.
