Interns assignments/tasks
  • Samples preparation for optical and electron microscopy. Evaluation of properties of new alloys for possible industrial applications. Analysis of the effect of the production stages of hydrocarbon pipes by the submerged arc method on the mechanical properties of the materials. Evaluation of production parameters for mechanical properties in a production line of automotive aluminum alloys. Metallographic examination of various alloy samples. Familiarization with electron microscopy and electron backscatter diffraction. etc.
