Telecommunications Sosein has been at the forefront of the telecommunications sector since 1994, initially collaborating with Telefónica in creating room structures and later installing transmission and data equipment. As the sector evolved, the company adapted its focus to work with new cable operators such as Supercable Andalucía, Vodafone, Amena. The company produces thousands of electrical cabinets per year, consuming different raw materials from batteries, cooper, and different electrical and electronic devices / equipment. For example, the manufacturing of cabinets for the control of Maya Train or the development of telecommunications airport network in a Europe east country.
The company's growth has been significant, expanding from an initial team of around 10 people to over 100 employees. This growth led to a rapid professionalization of the company, with the opening of new branches in Córdoba, Tenerife, and Las Palmas to provide a more comprehensive service to both Telefónica and other clients in the Canary Islands.
Over the years, Telecomunicaciones Sosein has been involved in key projects that have modernized and improved communications in Spain. From deploying fixed networks such as FFTH, FUSIÓN, BNG, to participating in the evolution of mobile networks from GSM to 5G, the company has been at the forefront of communication technology.
Currently, the company's focus is on broadband services, with the installation of state-of-the-art equipment from various manufacturers. Additionally, Telecomunicaciones Sosein has diversified its activities by entering the industrial and manufacturing sector. The creation of a manufacturing department has enabled the company to design, manufacture, and install high-quality electrical panels, complying with relevant regulations.
This expansion has led to participation in internationally significant projects, such as the Ankara Metro in Turkey, the Barcelona Metro, the AVE Tunnel in Perpignan, France, as well as photovoltaic plants in Chile, the United States, and South Africa, and weather stations at airports in Saudi Arabia.

Interns assignments/tasks
- SOSEIN is integrating into their activities the development and integration of energy communities, which has several pilots in development. Also, it has a software platform for the interconnection of different pv plants and buildings. The extension of the platform`s functionalities (such as connection with different waste agents of the areas, promoting circular economies and second-life usages) is in development. The task of the intern will be to contribute to the development of the platform, the description of the project, the interaction with some stakeholders, and offers to clients.
