Our institution, the Spanish Marble, Stone and Materials Tecnological Center, is a non-profit private business organization focused on the development of technological services and R&D projects for the non-energy mining industry, in a national and international scope. Our area of expertise covers geophysics methods (georadar, passive seismic, tomography), including remote source methods based on the teledetection (hyperspectral analysis) by means of UAV in exploration programs, integration of geological and geophysical data with resource calculation and mine planning software (DATAMINE), mineral resource and ore reserve estimation, grade calculations and 3D models. We have also a broad experience in the fields of materials tests characterization at accredited laboratory of natural and agglomerated stones, sustainable construction and architectural heritage, industrial safety, sustainable mining, training, R&D transfer of knowledge and digitalization of the mining sector. We have a rich database, a strong infrastructure and competent human resources (24 employees, mining engineers, civil engineers, architects, geologists, biologist, chemical engineers) as well as a broad experience participating in EU financed programmes.
