The Gómez Pardo Foundation is a non-profit organization focused mainly but not exclusively on the development of mining engineers, the support of sustainability in the raw materials and construction sectors. It currently manages a construction materials laboratory (LOEMCO) and another metallurgy laboratory (LAMIMER) in which we provide services to the industry and perform different R&D projects. At this moment, we are on the beginning of a new line of research about the use of wastes and alternative materials in construction products with 4 PhD in progress and 3 master thesis.   • No specific skills are required, but the following are recommended: -Basic knowledge of construction materials -Basic knowledge of chemistry and laboratory -Basic knowledge of mining and metallurgy English is required as the working language. Knowledge of Spanish is positive because it is the language of the workplace.

  • The intern will carry out research tasks together with a researcher with 8 years of experience in aspects related to: -Circular Economy -Metallurgy -Construction materials Specifically, he/she will perform the following tasks: -Planning of simple researches and tests, evaluation of the state of the art... -Development of basic laboratory tests -Management of instrumental techniques for the determination of elements. -Preparation of reports, analysis of results...
