Motivation letter (max. 1500 characters with spaces)

The IRS Internship Program is known for its capacity building for young professionals. Therefore, I would like to apply for the program at Kolektor CPG, ZAG and Rasa Municipality. My career as a civil engineer has given me a solid theoretical and practical experience. This makes me a suitable candidate to contribute to the work of your organizations. I am keen to develop my professional knowledge and skills through practical experience, having worked on building and transport projects after my bachelor's degree and currently studying Infrastructure Engineering. My ultimate goal is to bring back knowledge that would allow me to write my thesis, as well as valuable insights and construction methods that would benefit Liberia. With years of experience as a site engineer, I have learned the complexities of a construction project. I believe my aspirations to become a practical engineer are well matched by my background combined with Kolektor CPG's diverse operations in production, construction, maintenance and services. I am also fascinated by ZAG's research and pre-competitive development of building materials, products and recycling. I would like to contribute to the institute's efforts. Furthermore, the University offers me an excellent opportunity to use my skills and contribute to the sustainable development projects of the Rasa Municipality. I believe that my enthusiasm for practical engineering makes me suitable for this internship.
