Motivation letter (max. 1500 characters with spaces)

Dear Municipality of Raša, My name is Dora Rebeka, I am a second-year graduate student in Geological Engineering, majoring in Environmental Geology at the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering, University of Zagreb. I hereby apply for a student internship at the Raša mine. As a student in the last year of my studies, every internship offered sounds interesting because it is a good way to discover new areas and challenges in the profession before employment. In addition, I liked that this project is connected not only with geology and mining, but also with tourism. Your internship programme immediately seemed interesting to me. Leading tours through the former coal mine is an opportunity not to be missed. I will have the opportunity to get to know the operation of the mine first hand and will be able to transfer my knowledge about the history of Raša and the mine itself, as well as my knowledge about coal as a raw material, to other people. I am an open person who likes to communicate with others and I like to develop new things and ideas. This internship seemed like a great opportunity to combine my love for geological engineering and mining and my personality. Also, I see the possibility to develop my skills, but I also think that I have skills that will be able to help in the further development of this project and its success. I thank you in advance for taking the time to consider my application and I hope for a positive response! Kind regards, Dora Rebeka Kunštić
