Motivation letter (max. 1500 characters with spaces)

I am a student of the Master’s Degree in Chemical Technology at the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. My major is Technology of Fine Chemicals. I graduated with the Engineer’s Degree of Chemical Technology at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. The topic of my thesis was heterocyclic phosphonic acids – synthesis and application as metal chelators. I decided to participate in this internship programme because I would like to gain more knowledge about environmental protection and the processing of raw materials. Moreover, I would like to learn new laboratory skills. Another reason why I decided to apply in this progromme is to experience working abroad. I selected these organisations because they focus on environmental protection from the chemical side. They use chemical substances and tools to recycle or produce materials. I believe I am well suited for this position because I have the necessary laboratory skills and knowledge which would help in the field of raw materials. My strengths are ambition and quick study. I am open to new challenges. I have a great command of Ms Office package. I know English at a level that allows me reading and writing without any problems. My additional advantage is having experience in lab working. I am interested in continuing to work in the raw materials sector after finishing my internship.
