Motivation letter (max. 1500 characters with spaces)

I am writing to express my keen interest to be part of the company for Master's level internship+thesis opportunities during the first half of 2024 in exploration or ore geology. I am an exploration and resource geologist living right now in Trondheim (Norway), doing the second year in a EIT-Labelled master degree in Raw Materials Exploration and Sustainability (RaMES), a programme for research and innovation of the European Union focused on the importance of a sustainable geology in the green transition, with a strong emphasis on the principles of circular economy and its applications to academy and business industry world. During my Bachelor's Thesis "Exploration for iron, alunite and kaolin deposits in Madriguera, Province of Segovia'' (Cum Laude) I had the opportunity to study an abandoned mine district for Iron, Gold and Silver, actualizing the regional geological map and tectonic structure. Additionally, for the first time a deposit cartography of the 2 most important mining areas, and proposing a new genetic model. I have worked as much in the laboratory as in the field studying epithermal Fe-Ore and Pb-(Ag)-Zn ore deposits in Northern Apennines (Italy), and SE Spain mining districts, also core logging in the Gjersvik Cu-Zn VMS deposit in northern Norway. More recently in magmatic deposits have caught my attention, from the transport of metals from the mantle to the crust, in fact, I am working in an Iron Oxide - Apatite, in the layered intrusion of Bjerkreim-Sokndal in South Norway. As a general curriculum I studied, lived in three countries across Europe in the last year, developing an attitude towards team work, adaptation to living and working in remote areas, embracing and enjoying local cultures. Easily communicate in English, Spanish mother tongue with knowledge of Italian and Portuguese. Thanks for considering my application. Juan Rodríguez Gómez
