Motivation letter (max. 1500 characters with spaces) I am excited to apply for the internship opportunity at Sunlight in the field of recovering valuable materials from LFP batteries. As a highly motivated and driven individual with a background in mineral processing engineering, I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills to contribute to your team's efforts in sustainable and efficient battery material recovery.
During my previous internships in hydrometallurgical plants for gold and cobalt, I gained experience in the extraction and recovery of valuable metals using various techniques. I also developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a keen attention to detail, which I believe will be valuable assets in this field.
My current studies in the EMerald program have provided me with a deeper understanding of the importance of sustainability and circular economy in the minerals industry. I am particularly interested in the opportunity to apply these concepts to the recovery of materials from LFP batteries, which have become increasingly important in the transition to renewable energy.
I am excited about the prospect of working with the team to develop and optimize recovery processes for LFP batteries. I am confident that my technical knowledge, analytical skills, and passion for sustainability make me a strong candidate for this position.
